25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”
Mark 14:61-62
Jesus Claims He is the Son of God
61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?" 62 "I am," said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Jesus is Gentle and Humble in Heart
27“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
Mark 1:33-34
Jesus Heals All that Comes to Him
33 The whole town gathered at the door, 34 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was. 35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
John 3:31-35
God Gives Jesus Authority on Earth
31 “The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. 32 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. 33 The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. 34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. 35 The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.
John 8:31-32
Jesus' Teachings Shall Set Us Free
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
John 10:27-28
Jesus Gives His Followers Eternal Life
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.
John 20:30-31
30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
Matthew 26:53-54
Jesus Has Legions of Angels that are Ready
53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?”
Isaiah 55:8
God's Thoughts are Not Man's Thoughts
8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.
Faith, choice, and Love are uniquely linked by God...And faith is very important to God and Jesus...God could have gotten rid of faith when Jesus walked the earth (or anytime for that matter)...But in His sacred, holy, divine, and infinite wisdom He chose to make faith the cornerstone of believing in Him and His Son...He could have had and made everyone believe in Jesus (or/and Him) and then Truth would have prevailed over faith...We would not need our faith in the Father and His Son had God just made everyone believe...When you completely believe in something it becomes truth...
Jesus came and walked and taught on earth about two thousand years ago...He told us He is the Messiah...He told us He is the Son of the Blessed One...He told us He and His Father are One...He told us that He knew Abraham and was even existed before Abraham existed...Jesus told us that He was from Heaven...He tells us He has the authority to forgive sins...Jesus performed many miracles in the presence of His disciples to prove that He was the Messiah, the Son of God...In addition, He also performed many miracles in the presence of others...His miracles help validate Him as the Messiah...
But even though we are told all these things by Him and many miracles were done, we remain somewhat confused, and not completely convinced He is the Messiah and is Divine...He did this intentionally, both then and now...Even His closest followers left Him on the night of His arrest...If they were one hundred percent sure He was the Messiah and the Son of God, why would they left Him...They would have nothing to fear...Because He is Divine and the Messiah, He can always call on His legion of angels, who are always right there for Him...
So Jesus came to earth, it seems to me, a little veiled, a little in disguise...He wants us to have and keep the faith...Because even though He said He was from Heaven and from above, we were then (when He walked the earth) and still today given a choice or faced with a choice of believing in Him and having this faith in Him...We can either believe Him, or we can reject Him...He leaves us this wiggle room -to believe in Him or not to believe in Him...Much of this (for me) has to do with His uniqueness and being from another world (first of all most of us do not speak, act, talk, or do miracles like Him)...Yet, much of this is also about this choice (He wants us to have)...This wiggle room He has given each of us and whether to believe or not to believe is about His Love for us...Choice is so important in Love, especially God's type of Love...Without choice there may not be faith...Faith is linked to Love...If we take away the choices from the ones we love, is their really love...
If everyone and one hundred percent of the people believed in Him (when He came) and everyone would have known and would know that He is God in the flesh, (as stated earlier), why would we have this need for faith...Because faith would then become Truth, or a Truth to us...Faith in God and His Son (I think) when you are one hundred percent sure of faith or something -it becomes a personal truth...Therefore, faith would be gone, because it would then have became Truth...
Faith because God has left it for us, is so important to God and His Son...And for some reason or reasons, maybe mostly because of Love, They want us to choose and have our complete free will and daily choices to make...When your truly love someone, you do not want to control them...You want them to be themselves and make their own decisions about the things they do, and how they live their lives...You actually want your true loves to be who and uniquely who they are...Love, True Love is this way...And controlling the ones you love, is really not love at all...
So although Jesus came down to earth and said He was from Heaven and said He was the Son of God, and did miracle after miracle -He did it in a way that some will see the Light and others will not...It is a about this matter of faith that He graciously gives us...
