"Friends" Gifts

Starting in 2012 membership gifts from the members of the Friends of the Jenny Lind Chapel have totaled $6,565. These gifts have been added to the operating fund of the Chapel. Thank you!

Special Gift

We are pleased to report a gift of $10,000 from the Augustana Heritage Association. This letter was sent by Executive Director, David E. Baker, on behalf of the organization and the 1200 people who attended their gathering in June, 2012. The money was added to the growing endowment for the preservation of the Chapel and the legacy the Chapel represents.

The gift was received with joy and gratitude at the annual Joy of Christmas service held at Augustana Lutheran Church and the Jenny Lind Chapel on Dec. 5, 2012.
