Sharewell User Testing Platform: My Honest First Impressions
Hi everyone, and welcome! In this article, I want to talk about a platform called Sharewell. It’s a website that offers opportunities to earn money by participating in user testing, which typically involves testing mobile apps, websites, or digital products and providing feedback to developers or companies.
To be completely honest, my experience with Sharewell has been very limited, and I still have quite a few questions about the platform. I registered on Sharewell some time ago, but I haven’t really done any tests yet. Part of the reason, I believe, has to do with my location.
Initially, when I set my profile location to South Africa, I was getting emails about available tests. But after I updated my country to Zimbabwe, those messages stopped. This makes me wonder whether the availability of tests is location-dependent, which seems to be the case. It appears that users in certain regions, like South Africa, might have better chances of being selected for tasks.
I tried searching for Sharewell reviews online—on Google, YouTube, and even Reddit—but there isn’t much out there. This lack of information makes it difficult to confirm whether the platform is legitimate or not.
According to their official website, Sharewell connects companies with real users who can test products and provide insights. Testers are supposed to be paid for giving feedback on things like:
Mobile apps
Websites
User interfaces
Other digital experiences
From what I understand, tasks are short and can pay around £10 for 10 minutes of work, depending on the assignment. That sounds great, but again, it depends on actually getting test invitations—which I haven’t, at least since updating my profile to Zimbabwe.
I attempted to log into my Sharewell account recently, but ran into some issues. The site told me my email or password was incorrect. After a few tries, I used the password reset feature and eventually managed to access the dashboard through a link sent to my email.
Once inside, the interface looked straightforward. It showed a list of past emails and test invites I had received. One test offered £10 for just a 10-minute task. It’s a clean platform, but without active test opportunities, there’s not much you can do.
From what I’ve read on the site:
Minimum withdrawal amount: £25
Processing time: Up to 5 business days
I haven’t reached the payout threshold yet, so I can’t confirm whether or not they actually pay. That’s something I’m hoping to figure out in the future—and maybe with your help.
That’s the big question—and right now, I honestly don’t know.
There’s a lack of reviews online, which is a red flag for some.
A Reddit user mentioned having issues with the platform, but the post didn’t provide enough details to draw solid conclusions.
Some websites that show up when searching “Sharewell” are actually unrelated (like mental health organizations with the same name), which adds confusion when trying to research.
So far, I haven’t been able to determine if Sharewell is a legit way to make money or just another platform that looks good on the surface but doesn’t deliver. If you’ve used it and managed to get paid, I’d really appreciate it if you shared your experience in the comments. It would help me and others figure out if Sharewell is worth investing time in.
For now, I’ll keep exploring it and update you all as I learn more.
