My Experience with MicroWorkers: Can You Really Make Money?
I recently explored a platform called MicroWorkers, and after giving it a try myself, I thought I’d share everything I’ve learned for those of you who are curious about how it works—whether you're trying to make money online or market your services effectively.
Visit the official site here: www.microworkers.com
MicroWorkers is an online platform where people like you and me can earn money by completing small tasks called micro jobs. These tasks can be as simple as liking a post on social media, sharing content, leaving a comment, or completing a short survey.
There are also more specialized tasks like:
Transcription
Video annotation
Research
Writing articles
While most tasks are straightforward and don’t require technical skills, some do require a bit of experience or knowledge.
I personally have a MicroWorkers account. I’ve completed a few tasks here and there, and when I log in, I usually find a wide range of jobs waiting—most of them paying between $0.03 and $1.00 per task.
As of now, I’ve earned a little over $3.41. It’s not much, and I still need to hit the $5.00 minimum withdrawal threshold before I can cash out. Payments are available through options like:
PayPal
Skrill
Airtm
Dwolla
Payoneer
Getting started is simple:
Head to www.microworkers.com
Sign up for a free account
Log in and browse available tasks
Accept and complete tasks that interest you
Submit proof (usually a screenshot, link, or user ID)
Wait for approval and get paid
Social media tasks (like, share, follow & comment)
Surveys
App testing
Website visits
Writing reviews
There are also HG jobs (Hire Group Jobs), which are more exclusive and may pay better, though they still involve similar micro-tasks.
There's a user from Canada, “Mr. Metty,” who reportedly earned over $14,000 on the platform. Personally, I find that figure hard to believe unless there's some hidden strategy or automation involved. Based on my experience, it would take an enormous amount of time and dedication to reach that kind of number.
When I checked the top earners list, most people had earnings that looked modest, not in the thousands. So while it’s possible, I think it's rare and likely involves a combination of referrals, campaigns, and high-paying tasks.
This is where MicroWorkers shines.
You can hire people to promote your product or service. Let’s say you run a YouTube channel, offer voiceover services, or write business plans—like I do. Instead of paying for Facebook or Instagram ads, you can:
Create a campaign on MicroWorkers
Set the task (e.g., “Share my YouTube video,” “Post about my business on Facebook”)
Set a reward (e.g., $0.10 per task)
Get real people to promote your work
You're not dealing with bots—these are actual users engaging with your content.
For me, this is way more valuable than running paid ads because:
It's more affordable
You get genuine engagement
You can track the results directly
You save time by outsourcing promotion
I plan to spend around $10–$20 per month promoting my services this way. It’s an easy and efficient way to reach more people without manually doing all the work myself.
Earning small amounts of money in your free time
Promoting your business or YouTube channel
Gaining traction on social media
Making a full-time income
People looking for high-paying gigs
If you're consistent, patient, and creative, you can benefit from MicroWorkers. Whether you want to make a few extra dollars or boost your visibility online, it’s worth checking out.
If you've used MicroWorkers before or are planning to try it out, let me know how it goes! And if you want to see the full video version of my review, be sure to check it out on my YouTube channel: @how5851
