Online survey platforms have become a popular way for users to earn some extra income from the comfort of their homes. One of the newer names gaining attention is HeyPiggy, a site that promises simple surveys and quick payouts. But does it really deliver on those promises?
In this review, we take a closer look at the HeyPiggy platform, examining user experience, payout options, and its overall legitimacy.
HeyPiggy is an online survey platform where users can sign up and earn money by participating in surveys. The platform supports popular payout methods including PayPal, Visa, and other e-wallet services. Like many survey sites, it claims to provide a fair return for your time spent completing surveys.
After testing the platform firsthand, the experience was mixed. While HeyPiggy boasts a Trustpilot rating of 4.6, there are underlying concerns about the authenticity of those reviews. Trustpilot itself has flagged the platform with a warning, stating:
"We've detected that this company may be asking for reviews in a way that Trustpilot doesn't support."
This raises red flags about the legitimacy of the high ratings, suggesting that some of the positive feedback may have been incentivized.
Despite the concerns, some well-established websites such as PaidFromSurveys.com have given HeyPiggy a decent rating, citing that it offers a fair number of surveys and relatively good pay compared to other platforms in the same category.
In practice, the user experience tells a different story. For one user, attempting to complete surveys on HeyPiggy resulted in constant disqualifications. Most attempts led to messages like:
“Survey closed. Our partner ended the survey early. This could be for a number of reasons that have nothing to do with you.”
This message appeared repeatedly, regardless of the user’s efforts to qualify or provide relevant information. It raises the possibility that either surveys are being completed too quickly by others, or the platform's location-based filters are excessively strict.
While using the platform, the user managed to reach Level 4, but still did not receive any qualifying surveys. In terms of earnings, the total amount displayed was just $0.02—and even that seemed unclear in origin, as it wasn’t credited from any completed survey.
This inconsistency contributes to the overall frustration. For people who are genuinely looking to earn money through survey participation, this lack of opportunity can be discouraging.
One upside to HeyPiggy is the variety of withdrawal methods. Users can cash out through PayPal, Visa, and other common options once they meet the minimum payout threshold. Unfortunately, without qualifying for surveys, reaching that threshold may be nearly impossible.
Based on personal testing and community feedback, HeyPiggy appears to be a legitimate platform, but with major limitations. The site may work well for users in specific countries or regions, but for others—especially in certain locations—survey availability is extremely low, and qualification rates are poor.
Pros:
Multiple withdrawal options including PayPal and Visa
Good reviews from some reputable survey review sites
Cons:
Trustpilot warns of suspicious review behavior
Surveys are often closed or unavailable
Extremely low earnings unless you qualify consistently
If you’ve had a different experience using HeyPiggy, feel free to share your thoughts and reviews. Your feedback could help others decide whether this platform is a good fit for them.
Until then, this review serves as a fair warning—HeyPiggy may not be the most reliable choice for people looking to earn consistently through surveys.
