If you search for essay writing jobs on Google, you will probably come across a couple of these cheesy websites which offer academic assistance and writing services to students or essay mills as some people call them. Some students often outsource their assignments online for other people to write on their behalf. Writers in return are paid for their efforts. This is considered to be unethical, but due to unknown reasons people still do it anyway. I will share with you four places where you can apply as a writer and earn some side income for your self. But before I do, it is worth pointing out that most of these platforms will require you to have some sort of academic credentials like school certificates, diplomas, degrees etc before you can be accepted for work.
Livingston Research is one of these platforms which provide academic writing services. The type of tasks you can find here include answering basic essay questions, creating presentation slides, writing dissertations and so forth. Personally I have an account with them and so far I have only managed to complete one order. Now, in order to apply you have to through several steps. First of all you have to do a grammar test, followed by a subject test and lastly write a short essay. After that you will have to wait for a few days in order to get your reply. If you are approved, then the boarding process will begin. Now, it can take days or sometimes months for one to access their account. This solely depend on the amount of work the system receives on a daily basis. Tasks are completed according to the client's instructions. Failing to follow these instructions can result in receiving a poor grade and in overtime have your account deactivated. The number of available jobs vary with seasons. There is a high and a low season. During the high season or school days, the amount of work will also be high and you can complete as many orders as you want. The opposite can be said for the low season. The prices for the tasks depends solely on the complexity of that particular task. They have three forms of payment and these are Skrill, Payoneer and Wire Transfer. You need to reach a threshold of at least $30 in order to do your first withdrawal and after that the amount you can withdraw will depend on the limit of that particular payment platform. To make your first withdrawal on Livingston Research, you will need to complete their verification process. They have a third party which handles that particular process. The other thing which I mostly like about this platform is the amount of bonuses which you get for completing your orders
This another place where you can apply for writing jobs. The platform has been around since 2003 and it is still thriving. Personally don't work with them. Therefore I don't know if they're hiring workers globally or not and also the available payment options. Just like the next two platforms , this is just a suggestion on my part. So you can go ahead and try your luck here. The type of work to be completed here ranges from undergraduate programs all the way to PhD level. They are quite selective in their recruiting process and they only pick the best. In order to qualify, they require that you to possess a degree with a 2:1 grade in any area of expertise. To start the application process, you have to scroll down and click on to become a researcher. This will take you to an application form where you have to fill out your details. You will need to submit scanned copies of your academic credentials and other forms of identification on their form. After that you will receive an email which confirms your registration and when to expect a reply from their side.
Essay Shark is also another popular essay mill out there. If you look it up on YouTube, you will see a couple of review videos about it. They seem to hire writers around the world as some writers are from the African countries like Kenya and Nigeria. To qualify for work, you have to upload your school certificates, complete a series of questions and pass the grammar test. You only have one chance to take the test and if you do fail, they simply close your account. In order to apply you have to scroll down and click on to become a freelance writer and then go through the registration process. There are often other ways to get around this problem. If you search on YouTube you will find a couple of videos which shows how you can pass these grammatical tests. Click on one of them, watch it and take some screenshots of the selections made by the YouTuber in the video. Then take sometime off to study them thoroughly. There is always a chance that you can come across most of those same questions again in the test. I also checked for some reviews on this platform and most of them are pretty much positive.
This is the last website on this list. Out of the above three, this has to be the worst place to become a writer. Writers Labs is filled with a lot of controversies and a lot of negative reviews. The website's design itself is not appealing for an organizations which is supposed to offer professional services. The platform hire writes from around the globe. They pay through PayPal and Payoneer and they do that twice per month. Tasks are completed as according to the customer's instructions and failure to do this can result in your account being demoted or worse closed. This is basically what a lot of people complain about. In order to apply, you have to go to the home page and then click on register. This is will take you through four stages of the application process. Here you are given three chances to pass the test. Personally I found the grammar test to difficult to complete. This is because, I encountered a lot of mistakes within the test itself, from basic spelling, grammar and puntuation. This made it a lot more difficult for me to answer questions in a much more accurate manner. Well, you can always try your luck, it might turn out differently for you.
