Objective: Offence and communication practice.

Suitable for: L2+

Action:

• Groups of 5. 3 blockers line up. A jammer and an O for the jammer start behind and agree offence tactic to try.

• On the whistle the O to do something to get the jammer out.

• The O could go first, or go at the same time with the jammer on the whistle, depending what has been agreed between the two.

• The jammer to jam until they get out or cover 30 feet.

- Blockers getting better in thinking about how to help their jammers.

S-curve offence & jammer comms

All skaters do different roles.

Suitable for: L1+

Action:

• Groups of 4. Two wall, one jammer, one O

• O comes in - takes first blocker, jammer follows, brace moves in front of jammer, O takes brace

• Jammer communicating “this one!”

• Everyone does each role twice
