Debate Camp Recommendations
The following camps have been recommended for members of the HHS Speech/Debate team who will be Sophomores+ next year. Policy debaters who are in year 2 are required to attend one of the camps listed below. Students are strongly encouraged to attend a summer debate camp in addition to the camp we host at HHS. Any student who will be attending a camp should notify the coaching staff of their camp, the dates chosen and the specific lab attending once a camp slot has been secured.
These camps have been carefully chosen for their reputation, coaching staff and their compatibility with the coaching philosophies of our team. If you are considering a camp that is not listed below, please consult with Nash immediately.
POLICY, PF, and Congress Camps
The instructors of those institutes are some of the nation's best public forum coaches, it is our belief that the translatable knowledge will give your child a competitive edge in the upcoming school year. For policy debate, the Skills lab at UTNIF is the baseline recommendation.
