18. TFA State

Please join me in congratulating members of the HHS Speech & Debate team who competed at the TFA State Tournament in El Paso this past weekend. The team ended up taking the 9^th place spot for number of total qualifications and was 22^nd out of 209 schools for sweepstakes. Senior Jordan Rojas won one of 4 $1000 scholarships awarded at the meet – quite a feat considering that there were 1417 students entered!
