Id Kah Mosque

Kashgar is a city steeped in Islamic culture. There’s no other city like Kashgar in China. The Id Kah Mosque, built in 1442, is the largest mosque in Xinjiang. Besides its religious role, it is also the focal point for community gatherings, both local and regional. 

艾提尕尔清真寺

喀什是一个沉浸在伊斯兰文化中的城市。在中国，没有其他城市能与喀什相比。建于1442年的艾提尕尔清真寺是新疆最大的清真寺。除了宗教角色外，它还是社区集会的焦点，无论是本地还是区域性的。其建筑风格融合了传统的伊斯兰和维吾尔风格，以其宽敞的庭院、精致的木雕和独特的尖塔为特色。

Scripture Halls

These scripture halls lined the interior of the Central Courtyard of the Id Kah Mosque. They looked like a garden with towering trees, offering a peaceful environment where Islamic preaching and learning were conducted. 

习经堂

这是位于艾提尕尔清真寺中央庭院内的习经厅。它看起来像一个花园，周围有许多高耸树木，为伊斯兰教的传道和学习提供了一个宁静的环境。

Afaq Khoja Mausoleum 

Located some 5km northeast from Kashgar, stands one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in Xinjiang, the Afaq Khoja Mausoleum. A large dome of 17m is at the centre surrounded by four corner minarets with stripes and arabesque floral patterns. It was built in traditional Uyghur architectural style in 1640. 

阿帕克霍加陵墓

位于喀什东北约5公里处，这座陵墓也许是新疆伊斯兰建筑的最佳代表。一座直径17米的大圆顶位于中心，四个带有条纹和阿拉伯式花纹的角楼环绕其周围。它建于1640年，采用了传统的维吾尔建筑风格。根据当地传说，香妃与阿帕克霍加家族的72位后裔埋葬在这里。

Gengong Shrine

In the heart of Kashgar Old City stands a Han-style building, the Gengong Shrine. In front of the shrine is the bronze statue of Gengong in military attire, with a majestic and youthful appearance. His steed stands on its hind legs signifying gallantry. He embodies the soul of the Old City of Kashgar. 

耿恭神祠

在喀什老城的中心地带矗立着一座汉式建筑，那就是耿恭神庙。在神祠前，是一尊身穿军装的耿恭铜像，英姿勃发，神情威严。它的坐骑后腿站立，象征着英勇。主建筑两侧的对联写道：“泣血筹边千秋业，掬心报国百世钦”从古代的疏勒到今天的喀什，我们可以回顾耿恭带领最后十三名士兵回到玉门关以保卫汉朝西域的英勇事迹。他体现了喀什老城的灵魂。

Two Civilisations Side-By-Side

The Gengong Tower (2-storeys) and the Dingyuan Tower (5-storeys) are wooden edifices in traditional Han style. Adjacent to them are distinctly styled Islamic buildings. The Adzan Tower (right) and the Dingyuan Tower complement each other. 

互相辉映两文明

楼高两层的耿恭楼与五层高的定远楼，是木构的传统汉式建筑；比邻而立的是风格鲜明的伊斯兰建筑。高耸的宣礼塔与巍峨的定远楼互相辉映。这是两种不同的文明，迥异的风情，却都矗立在相同的土地上天空下。
