Mega Drive Console

Straight up, There is something out there called RAIDO and eSATA, a tower cabinet, described in basic terms, as hard drive system that can take more than a few of the same kinds of drives at the same time. Some of us might be used to thinking of the CPU as having 2 inserts to put in flash drives, maybe a hard disk drive, and 1 or 2 CD drives. Hey top of the line stuff. Wrong. At least not on par with the inevitable that was going to start showing up for sale. Even for your standard PC at the house or work, things might be changing soon. People are tired of having to take out a CD, especially when running the risk of getting it lost, or losing your place in the CD, for a couple of minutes to look at the content of another CD. What if you have a huge project, and you had the content split up on 3 hard drives instead of 2, and it would take too long to juggle 3 drives when there are inserts for only 2, or have to save an entire paper on the harddrive, to manipulate integrating the 3 sets of information.

This is on the greedy side. Nevertheless, it would be as foolish not say something, as to risk being looked at as a capitalizing copy-cat; and this is a blog after all.

Unless you build computers yourself, the initial idea of what is about to be set forth, if it did not make itself clear already, is probably not going to be something ready to go out and buy tomorrow. Then again, as competitive as the computer world is, there might be a rush to get these products on the market.

Pcpop.com describes a tower system, that takes about 4 or 5 what looks like CD drives at the same time. Analogy, the office grows bigger, instead of having a 2 drawer file cabinet, 4 and 5 drawer file cabinets can be purchased usually for an increase in cost, to file all the paperwork.

The referent site has them laid out RAID 0, RAID 2, etc. There are pictures of the product on the site. The only catch is you might have to do the research in Chinese.

Here is the computer hardware named for now Mega Drive Console:

It has a number of CD Rom drives, enough flash drive portals for, throwing a number up, 10 flash drives to plugged in and active at the same time. Earphone jacks, so that 4 or 5 people can listen to music at the same time. Taking it a step further, cloud computing capability, that lets several people use the computer and interface with their own cloud computing networks or communities without interrupting the other persons, the same for file sharing. It is not appropriate to use someone's copyrighted material, but only for illustration of the type of technology referred to, is Google Drive.

Taking turns on the computer might be a thing of the past. A household that can only afford one computer, and 3 or 4 kids all need the computer at the same time to do their homework, well the Mega Console would have enough ports and capabilities to plug in 4 or 5 keyboards at one time, 4 or 5 monitors at one time, the only thing they will need is enough space to sit and type.
