This tape resist watercolor was done with duct tape and watercolor paints at the Woburn Public Library in the fall of 2019. It is an interesting process that leaves a white border when the tape is removed after the painting is completed.
Elayne's tape resist watercolor is shown here before the blue duct tape was removed and white showed instead. She decided to make a diagonal cross with the tape and paint in the four areas. She did a rose against a light pink background, white clouds and sun in a blue sky, a red triangular shape with lines and circles against a light green, and various size cobalt blue dots in a field of yellow.
