Courting Swans

Elayne might not have become so interested in photographing swans if it were not for her friend Suzanne Bennett. Suzanne was passionate about swans and Elayne went with her in Woburn, Winchester and Andover MA for hours taking pictures of swans in all kinds of natural conditions. On one of their trips Elayne caught two swans in a mating dance. Here they are in their heart-shaped formation before the male plunges the female into the water and mates with her. In Photoshop Elements Elayne changed the background to a deep blue to make the white swans stand out and the photo more spiritual.
