Elayne has always been in love with photography, especially colorful photography with a lot of beauty and harmony no matter the subject. Her photography took leaps and bounds when she bought a Nikon N8008 camera and joined the Waltham Camera Club where she learned photographic techniques by listening to the judges in competitions. As a result, she ended up winning two trophies and a lot of ribbons.
In 2015 Elayne purchased a MacBook Pro laptop, organized her computerized photos, and began creating photographic PowerPoint programs to show at the Woburn Senior Center, local assisted living facilities, and other organizations.
In 2012 after her friend Dorothea O'Regan suggested she read her poetry at the Porter's Art Group monthly cable TV programs in Stoneham, MA, Elayne saw a way to also present photographs with an artistic rendering and did this for five years. Some of the photographs, shown by titles, in the following pages are from this show. The original is shown above one or two renderings so that you can see the difference. Elayne also explains the technique she used in Adobe's Photoshop Elements.
Elayne created a photographic PowerPoint program called Artistic Renderings with Photoshop Elements for any interested people or groups.
