On February 15, 2020 Elayne attended a Woburn Public Library class on making bath salts with instructor Shino Takahashi. There were only two students so a lot of questions got answered and more vials were made.
In making a group of bath crystals, we did the following:
Add 5 drops of an appealing essential oil (such as lavender, ylang ylang, eucalpytus, etc.)
Add one drop of soap color (Shino had peach, seafoam green and lavender).
Mix the first two ingredients.
Add 1 tsp. of baking soda and mix into the oil and color.
Add 3 tsps. of Epsom Salts then mix all of the ingredients together.
Repeat if more is needed to fill a container.
Tag a full vial or container with the name of the oil and tie with string.
NOTE: It is important to use soap coloring so the bathtub will not stain.

Elayne integrated Peach color and Ylang Ylang scent bath salts with the Green in the round container above
After the bath salt containers are filled, the final step is to tag them with the name of the scent. This Lavender one has a small tag tied with string.
