Elayne enjoyed going to Decordava, an outdoor and indoor museum, in the woods of Lincoln MA and photographing whatever attracted her. One day she saw a full-size bronze statue of a woman holding out her hand and photographed that from the side, but as Elayne stood before her and looked at her face, she noticed the strength in it - the eyes, nose, and curved lips. She transformed it in Photoshop Elements cropping the features closer and using Solarize. (Note: The photo on the right does not show the full photo in this Google setting.)

Elayne zeroed in on the eyes, nose and mouth for this rendering. The Solarize added some magenta to the green, especially where there were highlights from the sun.
