The Sockeye Construction team worked their magic to give this small bathroom a fresh appearance without breaking the homeowner’s bank. Without changing the layout of the room, they opened the space by cutting back the wall between the entry and tub. They then installed a hydro-slide shower door to showcase the patterned tile surround.

A recessed shower niche adds storage space in the tub area. Opposite the tub, the team went with a transitional style for the vanity cabinets. The full height crayon-shaped tile wall provides the perfect backdrop for black mirrors, fixtures and hardware. They chose bright, clear-glass, three-light vanity lights to illuminate the space and installed motion-activated, under-cabinet vanity lighting. Two floating shelves on the vanity wall provide a decorative element and extra towel storage. The kids love their new bathroom, and their parents are thrilled with the transformation made within the budget available.
