Addition Under $125,000

With hopes of creating a new and spacious waterview addition, the homeowners contacted John Erwin Remodeling. Being situated on a hillside created a unique set of challenges for the team. With extremely limited means to transport any power equipment for demolition and removing debris, everything had to be lifted by hand and brought down via the exterior cement staircase consisting of approximately 35 steps each way. That didn’t stop them though.

The team was able to take the space from an existing deck to extend the living room space on the upper floor area while simultaneously adding a new office space on the lower floor, both with a beautiful view of the bay. They completed the project with a small side deck that reused most of the original composite decking material.
