A message from the 2022 BIAW Remodelers Chair

Excellence. It’s a standard many aspire to, but only the very best achieve.

The annual BIAW Excellence in Remodeling (EIR) Award competition shines a light on Washington’s best remodeling and design work by BIAW members statewide.

BIAW members across the state submitted 57 entries in 25 different categories in this year’s competition. A record eight local associations were represented this year.

Industry experts reviewed and scored each project based on aesthetics, special or unique design solutions, quality craftsmanship, appropriate building materials, budgetary considerations and the challenges the project’s design requirements faced.

This website showcases the 25 winners of the 2022 EIR competition. With their expertise, innovation and attention to detail, these projects meet and exceed our standards of excellence necessary to win a 2022 Excellence in Remodeling Award.
