Mirador has announced their debut headlining tour in the United States. Mirador is a band co-founded as a side project for Josh Kiszka of Greta Van Fleet and Chris Turpin of Ida Mae. Both Kiszka and Turpin sing, write lyrics, and play guitar. The band also features Mikey Sorbello on drums and Nick Pini on Bass and Keyboards. Mirador made their live debut last year opening for Kiszka's band Greta Van Fleet on the Starcatcher World Tour. They have yet to release any music on streaming or physical formats. According to Neal Nachman of Full Access Detroit, fans who got to see the band live on that tour "can attest to the band's ability to conjure sky-shaking and boundary-bursting rock 'n' roll by invoking spirits of ancient myth, traditional folklore, and Delta-born blues in concentrated musical incantation. The group...stretches the limits of rock 'n' roll and showcases the band's myriad influences and uncompromising vision."
The tour will feature 8 shows across the month of May, beginning in Nashville, Tennessee, and ending in Napa, California. Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, March 7 at 10 AM local time. When announcing the headlining tour, the band also teased a new album that they claim to be playing songs from live. This is what they had to say on the matter: "The stage is set. Songs have been committed to the master tape. Our hearts are aflame. Our live shows will feature brand new songs from our upcoming album, which we cannot wait to share with you. Details of the full length will be forthcoming. The story unfolds."
