Step-by-Step

Step 1 Cut a section of metal sheet off of the roll so it is easier to cut into strips. 

Step 2: Line up the scoring mats and clamp the metal onto it.

Step 3: Line up the sliding cutter to make the strip ½ inch wide and cut. 

Step 4: Use the mallet to straighten the strip out. 

Step 5: Keep repeating the process until 8 metal strips are made.

Step 6: Measure ¼ inch from the top of the strip on one side.

Step 7: Set up a screwdriver and hit it with the mallet until the hole is made. Repeat for all strips. 

Step 8: Cut four black and four white wires about the length of the strip.

Step 9: Strip both sides of the wires and put one through the hole of the metal strip. 

Step 10: Connect four black wires to four metal strips and four white wires to four other metal strips. 

Step 11: Set up the soldering iron and do a test run. 

Step 12: Solder the eight strips and wires together. 

Step 13: Use the voltage box and a motor to test the connection of the wires.

Step 14: Once the wires and strips are successfully soldered, place them about a ¼ inch apart.  

Step 15: Send the strips through a laminator.

Step 16: Cut off the excess plastic and use the heat gun to reseal everything.

Step 17: Submerge the strips in water and see if the electricity is being conducted. 

Step 18: Tape the capacitors inside the bottle.

Step 19: 3D print the cap and bottom component.

Step 20: Attach the UV lights to the cap and put the magnets there.

Step 21: Add strips of metal to the cap and body to power the UV lights, also put magnets on the top of the body.

Step 22: Tape the wires for the capacitor on the outside of the bottle towards the bottom component.

Step 23: Add magnets to the bottom of the bottle and the top of the bottom component. 

Step 24: Wire everything to the Arduino and place it in the bottom component.

Step 25: Magnetize everything together and the bottle is complete.
