Once all of our parts were delivered, we were able to start building. We used the mock-up from Element D to figure out how we wanted to start. This stage came with a lot of learning, challenges, and figuring out how to create the best possible prototype. We documented each part of the process and worked as a team to connect the separate parts of the project into the prototype.
Problem Statement
Many people don’t get the water they should, often because they are uneducated about how much they should drink or forget to drink. According to a survey sent to students and teachers at a school in 2022, about half of the people drink less than half a gallon. Additionally, research shows that 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated, and factors such as thirst, the temperature of water, the convenience of drinking it, and other psychological, behavioral, and environmental influences impact how much water people drink.
