The Savage Reaches

• The Kingdom of Kalioban controls the peninsulas and islands on the eastern side of the Farissian Gulf. It's capital, Oban is known for incredible works of architecture with dome and onion shapped roofs. Kalioban's largest industries are logging and construction. It is currently at war with the Dominion of Rhavia and the Kingdom of Tavir 

• The Kingdom of Tavir controls the entirety of the Jungle in this region.  Their great tree stands at the center of this jungle; home to the majority of elves in the kingdom.  Tavir is currently at war with the Kingdom of Kalioban. Relations had always been tense due to Kalioban's logging operations, but the recent 'Sweetwater Incident' caused violent acts on each side, leading to open war. 

• The Republic of Cheddar is the largest collective of Halflings in the world.  They have relatively good relations with all of their neighbors,  Their capitol city, Cheddar, is a sprawling collection of tiny houses and halls. The republic controls a large fleet of small ships, based at the Docks on the Dairy Coast. 

• The Pelopi Pirate Kingdoms control most of the southern waters of the Farissian Gulf.  They are contested by the fleets of Kalioban and Lashira. There are dozens of self-proclaimed pirate kingdom, but only a select few of their kings make up the governing council of the island chain

• Karkossa is the mountainside stronghold of a kingdom of brutish Stone Giants. The Kingdom of Karkos has dwindled in size and strength for the last two ages. Old king Kilvorg may be losing the ability to rule his people.   

• The Gorbian Bogway is a swamp land stretching from the Farissian Gulf to the Windlash Sea. Once controlled by the Lord of Gorbanon, it is a treacherous land that is home to many creatures including black dragons.  The town of Crossin sits at the middle of this quagmire; a home for those who want to live off the swamp and a well earned  rest for travelers. 

• The citadel of Gorbanon sits at the southern tip of the Waxen Mountians.  The blackstone castle with dozens of spires has been occupied by many malicious lords since the 3rd Age, but as recent as 641 A4, Lord Karfax Shadaros launched an assault against the elves of Bok'Ti and the Republic of Cheddar.  

• Bok'Ti was incinerated by a pirate nation called the Marauders in 884 A4. Before this, the Kingdom of Bok'Ti maintained good relations with their northern elven brothers, the Kingdom of Tavir, as well as the Halflings of Cheddar.  The decade-long endeavor gained the Marauders immense respect  within the Pelopi Pirate Kingdoms and earned their king the highest seat on the council. 

• The Copper Gates have been used for ages to ferry ships between the Farissian Gulf and the Windlash Sea. However, in 904 A4, the great mechanism broke, and the gate has remained closed. The dwarven operators of the structure have been attempting to repair it, but the machine's designs were lost during the flooding of Aquodon.  Since the Copper Gates broke down, The city of Tolli is in economic ruin. It's inhabitants frantically seek alternate economic ventures, as well as a way to restore functionality to the gates.
