Oban is the capital city of the Kalioban Kingdom. It is known across the world for its booming timber industry. Its economy is constricted by multiple factors. War with the Rhavian Dragonborn and Taviri Elves consumes significant resources. Trade with the east has been halted due to the breaking of the copper gates. Attempts have been made to sail around the south end of the continent, but most ships are intercepted by pirates. The few that make it past are quickly lost to the tainted bay or the windlash sea. Overforestry has caused a lot of the countryside to turn to marshland, making farming, hunting, and travel difficult.
