The city of Yuos is located at the top of the Great Tanari Falls in the southern region of Ciel. It is the second oldest human city in the world, the capitol of the Yuosi Dynasty and the seat of the Yuosi'Dan. The city is known as one of the most exotic in Dissa, having developed a culture under unique circumstance; the ancient pact with the Illisari elves prevent them from taking anything from the Forest of Eternal Morning. They were relatively cut off from the rest of the world until the Grand Crane was engineered in 586A3, allowing them to ferry ships up and down the 300ft waterfall. Yuosi cuisine is predominantly seafood and rice based, but the city's chefs can work wonders with these basic ingrediants and a little Habiran spice. The city's artisans use ancient techniques in their pottery, jewelry, tailoring, and other crafts. A lot of their work is made with elvish culture and preference in mind.
