This page is not to tell you how to paint models, but to show you how I paint models. I am NOT any kind of expert in this field but I do use a few simple techniques to bring a little life into the model.

I mainly use three stages:

• Base Coat

• Dark Wash

• Light drybrush highlight

The base coat is the main "mid-tone" colour I want to paint. After that I apply a thin wash of a darker colour to simulate shadows as the wash will creep into the corners. finally I dry brush on the highlights.
