UIHARU

OVERVIEW

Uiharu is based around the usage of her 5S. After the first initial hit, RNG will decide which additional attack will be selected. The optimal follow-up is the green one. Since it activates on hard knockdowns it makes excellent oki to stop your opponent from acting. Getting the blue one is the most inconstant one. It can really mess you up if it appears during a combo you’re used to and will cause you to improvise it. It’s quite unsettling due to 5S’s rng nature but she’s still a great assist overall. Her 6S allows you to extend the duration of states. Potential, Power Blast and Trump State. It’s even more beneficial when you manage to activate all three at the same time and then use Uiharu to extend all three. Your character will certainly pack-a-punch! It’s viable to use 6S at least one time to extend the states but if you’re feeling you may need it longer, a second time is okay but try not to go for a third time. Work around her 5S timings and use that rng of hers to throw off the opponent as well.

  • Despite being a good fullscreen tool, it can easily be avoided by a well timed super jump

MOVE DESCRIPTION

5S

Uiharu uses her laptop to coordinate an attack against the opponent. A reticle appears over the opponent that fires shortly afterwards. After the initial attack, Uiharu assists the player with 3 additional sequential attacks. If a Climax Arts is used during any point while the move is active it will cancel out the remaining attacks. The activation requirements for the follow up attacks are selected at random and include the following:

  • Denoted by a clock symbol, activates automatically after about 5 seconds

  • Denoted by a rebouding V looking symbol, activates when the opponent is knocked down (does not activate against air teching)

  • Denoted by an explosion symbol, activates when the player attacks the opponent 2~3 times (regardless of hit or block)

Aside the timed attack, you have about 20 seconds to activate the follow up attack before Uiharu disappears

6S

Uiharu appears in front of the player standing around absentmindedly. This move increases the overall length of both Power Blast, Trump Card state, potential, and also recovers about 4% of the player's health and requires no assist call animation.

  • The first use during any of these increases length by approximately four seconds

  • The second use increases length by approximately two seconds

  • Every use after that increases by approximately one second

The amount of time Uiharu is on screen is proportional to the increase.
