ALICIA

OVERVIEW

Alicia specializes primarily in combo extension due to her unique trait allowing her cooldown to start prematurely but has strong uses as oki as well. 5S is a go to oki tool since it has enough time to allow the player to begin a mixup. Being able to get the grenade to hit allows you to combo after and potentially use 5S again as oki. Creating optimal situations to “loop” this setup will be beneficial with your gameplay involving Alicia. 6S can be used for many things such as combos, neutral, oki and even cross up protection break.

Strengths

  • Her unique trait allows further combo extension and assist combo into assist oki

  • 6S is a decent pressure tool with pretty big reward

Weaknesses

  • Due to startup times, both her moves are susceptible to getting interrupted

  • In neutral, both moves can be avoided by super jumps

MOVE DESCRIPTION

5S

Alicia throws a grenade towards the opponent. Once it hits the ground it explodes, launching the opponent on hit. The grenade itself does not have a hitbox, only the explosion. The grenade tracks the opponent's position.

6S

Alicia stands in front of the player then after a delay she transforms and teleports towards the opponent, hitting them with a multi hit spinning attack. She is onlu vulnerable until she transforms. Afterwards she cannot be interrupted. A trait unique to Alicia is that even when she is used in a combo, her cooldown will start immediately rather than after the opponent recovers.
