Zoom is a proprietary video teleconferencing software program developed by Zoom Video Communications. The free plan allows up to 100 concurrent participants, with a 40-minute time restriction. Users have the option to upgrade. See below.
How It Can Be Used: Zoom can be used:
to have synchronous classes
to have committee and small colleague meetings
to hold one-on-one faculty-student mentoring/tutoring sessions
to share screens and help students see what you see
COST: Temple College has a Zoom account. If you are interested in using Zoom for longer than 40 minutes at a time, contact Brian Supak for a college account.
