Google Slides
Google Slides is a free presentation program similar to PowerPoint. We now have free access to this through Temple College. Use your email to log in (last name first initial last 3 of ID @ templejc.edu).
Why Use Slides instead of PowerPoint:
Google Slides
are consistent (regardless of the device, Slides look the same)
are easy to access (regardless of where you are. No files to be saved).
can be used as a backchannel during class (The Audience Q&A allows students to ask questions while you are presenting)
track individual work during group projects
are easily shared
can be used as a group assignment (each group can be responsible for one slide of a presentation with all the group's information showing up on one document)
