Google Sheets is a free spreadsheet creation tool we now have access to through Temple College. Use your email to log in (last name first initial last 3 of ID @ templejc.edu).
Why Use Google Sheets Instead of Excel in the Classroom:
Google Sheets is collaborative. Use as a sign-up page, as one document where each student has a section he/she is responsible for completing.
Revision history is visible. When doing group work, faculty can finally see who contributed what to the document.
Google Sheets are easy to share and easy to access from anywhere. No saving of documents is necessary.
Google Sheets can work easily with Google Docs and Google Forms.
Google Sheets has a unique graphing feature.
