Nearpod
Nearpod helps make any lesson interactive whether in the classroom or virtually. A teacher can create interactive presentations that can contains formative assessments, such as quizzes, polls, videos, and collaborative boards.
Nearpod can be used as a individual activity outside of class or can be used during class. It is used a Google slide add on or you can present from the website (again going through Google slides).
How It Can Be Used: NearPod can be used to:
create powerful presentations. Simply use PowerPoint presentations or Google Slides as the basis on which you can add materials
allow for personalized instruction
serve as a repository for resources
provide live formative assessments (either F2F in class or virtually)
provide self-assessments for students
produce reports for faculty to measure understanding
