Diplocentridae Karsch, 1880

The Diplocentridae family is currently represented by 10 genera and 134 species. They are distributed in almost all the continents. It seems to be more associated with microhabitats, less disturbed and in stable conditions, with a more conserved plant structure. Scorpions in this family are generally not of medical importance.
