Zalmoxidae  Sørensen, 1886

A particular group of Laniatores, some edaphic, with the fourth pair of armed legs, distributed in the tropics. Currently, represented by approximately 2000 species distributed in 60 genera. In Córdoba, they can be found occurring in the leaf litter in both the tropical dry forest and the humid forest areas.
