Withiidae Chamberlin, 1931

It is represented by 167 species, distributed in many regions of the world, being diverse in Africa and South America, some genera are almost cosmopolitan. Commonly, they can be found occurring in leaf litter, under bark, and under rocks. Some species are found in anthropogenic environments. Characterized by the males, they present sensory setae in the posterior sternites.
