Currently, it is represented by 80 species, distributed throughout the terrestrial ecosystems, several genera, are widely distributed. They are found occurring under the bark of trees, some species are present in coastal areas, they are adapted to occupy sand dunes or under rocks and stones and, in the same way, the representatives of more terrestrial environments are established xeric environments. Characterized by presenting the bifurcated arolium; coxa IV approximately the same width as coxa I and sternite XI without a desclerotized region surrounding the anal cone.
