Cranaidae  Roewer, 1913

They are a group of Neotropical Opiliones, distributed from the Andes to the Amazon, currently represented by approximately 165 species, distributed in 80 genera. 

The specimen presented here is part of the first materials that were collected in the department, occurring in areas of humid forest south of Córdoba.
