Dear YouTube Team,
I am writing to formally appeal the recent decision regarding the removal of my content and the associated warning. However, I believe there may have been a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of the content in question.
The content in question was a parody of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire," updated to reflect current trends and popular topics of 2023, and it was a draft version. My intention was solely to offer a humorous and relevant interpretation of the song, not to violate YouTube’s policies.
I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of respect and integrity in all my content. I would never intentionally create or promote content that disrespects others or promotes hate or violence. Should the review confirm that my content violated the guidelines, I am open to further training and guidance to prevent similar issues in the future.
I respectfully request a thorough review of my appeal and the restoration of my content and good standing. If future content is found to be non-compliant, I will take immediate action to rectify the situation.
Sincerely,
David W. Coon
