Refute Ridiculous Aspects of Creationist Cosmologies
Creationist cosmologies are explanations of the origins and form of the universe in terms of the Genesis creation narrative (Genesis 1), according to which God created the cosmos in eight creative acts over the Hexameron, six days of the "creation week": Young Earth creationists interpret the six days as six 24-hour

Welcome to @Science-God
Delve deep into the intersection of Science and Faith,
challenge everything — from the origins of the cosmos
to the very nature of the Creator Himself.
"Religion gives man purpose; science gives him the power to pursue it. "
I believe that science and faith, are both immensely powerful forces,
and only when they are combined can we achieve truly remarkable things.
Through the wonders of modern science,
engineering, and technology,
we can accomplish incredible feats.Â
But it’s only when we unite this knowledge
with the divine wisdom and purpose
that only comes from God
that we can fully realize our
potential and reach enlightenment.Â
Science and technology, though invaluable, are ultimately
hollow without the deeper meaning and purpose that faith provides.
With that in mind, I’ve been eager to debunk the
claims of creationist cosmology for some time now.Â
As I see it, Ignoring the well-established principles
of scientific disciplines
such as geology and anthropology
not only deny reality but also disregard the rich,
magnificent history of Earth— that is God's creation.
For example; Let’s quickly clarify the difference
between geology and paleontology:
Geology is the study of Earth's physical structure,
what we're made out of,
and the processes that shape our tremendous,
This includes the formation of mountains,
continents, and oceans, an understanding of
Earth's layers (crust, mantle, core) and plate tectonics.
Paleontology, on the other hand,
is the study of life’s history on Earth through fossils,
this helps us trace the evolution of species over millions of years.
Over time, I’ve become well-versed
in virtually every argument
for and against the existence of God—
whether they come from ill-informed preachers or
well-funded conservative propaganda machines.Â
This video aims to be a resource
for anyone seeking clarity from the confusion
that comes from the seemly major contradictions
of religious beliefs and science.
Instead of focusing on specific individuals,
religions, or ideologies,
I want to address the common claims made by
creationists as a whole.Â
The goal is not to single out any particular faith,
but to arm you with the tools to dismantle
the flawed arguments behind creationist cosmology.Â
Whether you're debating a creationist
or dealing with a family member who frequently
lectures on the topic, I hope to help you navigate
these complexities and refute their points.

Quick Overview:
Creationist beliefs span a wide spectrum—
from complete rejection of science to near full acceptance—
but they all share one common thread:
belief in God, or a deity, guiding the process of creation.
Over time, I’ve become well-versed
in virtually every argument for and
against the existence of God—
Since the question of God's
existence is philosophical in nature,Â
it falls outside the realm of empirical science,
So I won’t address that here.
For those interested, I have other videos
that dive into those philosophical aspects.Â
Instead, this video will focus on the
well-established scientific principles
that creationists, to varying degrees, reject.
This discussion will tackle creationism as a whole,
but will also focus on specific ideologies
like Young Earth Creationism.
My goal is to expose the misconceptions and falsehoods
behind these outdated religious claims,
while showing how faith,
when properly understood,
can harmonize with the wisdom that science provides.Â
In doing so, I hope we can use the best that
both worldviews have to offer.

These individuals reject all modern science, believing the Earth is a divine terrarium.
They often cite Bible verses such as Psalms 93:1, which claims the Earth is immovable, or Genesis 1:6, which describes a firmament (a solid dome over the Earth).Â
They believe the Earth is only a few thousand years old and that all life exists as it was originally created.
Similar to Scriptural Literalists, but they do not believe the Earth is flat.Â
They assert the world was created in six literal days, about 6,000 years ago.Â
Some attempt to use geology and other sciences to support their beliefs, despite these ideas being widely refuted.
This view proposes a time gap between the first two verses of Genesis, suggesting that the universe was created, then millions of years later, life was formed over six days.Â
This allows for an older Earth while maintaining a scriptural interpretation.
Here, the "six days" of creation are viewed as long, indefinite periods, possibly spanning millions or billions of years.Â
This interpretation attempts to align creationism with geological and astronomical timescales.
This theory posits multiple, separate creation events over time.Â
It acknowledges clear evolutionary lineages in the fossil record but attributes these developments to divine intervention rather than natural selection or evolutionary processes.
Similar to Progressive Creationism, this movement (led by the Discovery Institute) seeks to reframe creationism as a scientific endeavor.
While accepting some aspects of science, such as common descent and geological time, it rejects evolutionary biology, particularly when it comes to explaining life’s complexity.
This view generally accepts the scientific principles of evolution but asserts that a deity intervenes at key moments or has a grand plan guiding the entire process.
The most scientifically aligned of all the creationist perspectives, Deistic Evolution suggests that a deity set the universe’s physical laws into motion at the Big Bang but played no further role.Â
It allows for natural processes to explain the diversity of life.
