Artist's Statement: I have learned that the materials and process play an important role in conveying my ideas. With See You in 4, I used film to capture a raw moment in time. After I developed the film, I used red pastels to transform a tender moment into a feeling of displacement.
Kylee Sheehan is a senior at Canton High School. Kylee has always been wired to understand and communicate best through visual arts. Most of Kylee's work style is conceptual as she works to capture societal concepts and ideas in a tangible form. She strives to make an impact on the viewer while they look at her artwork. Not only by creating and manipulating the scene, but involving subjects that have a voice in the message Kylee is trying to convey.
