ARTIST STATEMENT/BIO
My name is Donna (Wear) Milner. I grew up and graduated from West Liberty. I lived around Nichols for 25 years and moved back in 1993. My husband Larry Milner of 12 years and I are both retired, but still working. We are both doing what we enjoy. We like to keep busy and we are both crafty. I have a sewing and alteration business. I worked at a few places doing alterations and have worked out of my home for 30 years.
I had seen some folded books. I thought they looked interesting but wasn’t sure if it was something I could do. When I finally had time to look into it, I did one book, then I couldn’t quit. Ginge Miehe suggested that I bring to the gallery.
