Those attending the main conference only should plan to arrive in Santo Domingo by Wednesday, July 17th and to depart on Tuesday, July 23rd. We ask that all delegates stay at the W&P Hotel or the Dominican Fiesta Hotel, where we have arranged for the most comfortable and economical Room & Board accommodations available in the area.
Note that there are several pre- and post-conference workshops and field trips, so consider these when making travel plans. Read through your options on the Field Trip Webpage and the Workshop Webpage.

Room Rates
Please see below a table with the room rates for single and double accommodation for BirdsCaribbean delegates at the W&P. These prices are per person and they include breakfast. You can have lunch and dinner at the hotel by charging it to your room or paying directly at the restaurant. Please note that on four of the five conference days (July 18, 19, 21, & 22), lunch is included in your conference registration fee. Lunch is also included in most mid-conference field trips on Day 3, July 20. Whilst the food is excellent at the hotel, we encourage you to explore the city for dinner for at least one of the nights you are staying!
