Throughout the tour, you will surround yourself with a well-preserved riverine forest and different areas of forest in the process of recovery. You will have the opportunity to observe over 30 bird species in their natural habitat, learn about local conservation efforts, and immerse in the unique ecosystem of Reserva Privada Zorzal. Indulge into the local culture with a cacao and chocolate tasting session, exploring the flavors unique to the region.

Hispaniolan Lizard Cuckoo, Ashy-faced Owl, Hispaniolan Mango, Hispaniolan Emerald, Broad-billed Tody, Narrow-billed Tody, Antillean Piculet, Hispaniolan Woodpecker, Hispaniolan Palmchat, Black-crowned Palm Tanager, Hispaniolan Oriole, Hispaniolan Spindalis.

5:00 a.m. Departure 

8:00 a.m. Arrival to Reserva Privada Zorzal and welcome (coffee and hot chocolate) 

8:30a.m. Birdwatching 

12:30 p.m. Lunch 

1:30 p.m. Cacao and Chocolate tasting 

2:00 p.m. River 

4:00 p.m. Departure to hotel

What to bring:

Comfortable clothes and shoes, hiking shoes, insect repellent, swimsuit, towel, additional clothes, bottle with water.

Safety Consideration:

In case of rain, the slopes can be slippery during the hike.
