Aviat Aircraft Inc. is a US manufacturer of sport and utility aircraft, holding the rights to produce the Curtis Pitts Special, Christen Husky and Eagle II.
Founded by Frank Louis Christensen, Christen Industries was a US aircraft manufacturer initially producing the Christen Eagle II aerobatic biplane in kit form. They also designed and manufactured the Christen Husky A-1 utility aircraft until the acquirement by Aviat Aircraft, Inc. in 1991. Aviat continued both product lines.

Named after it's American designer Curtis Pitts and famed for the Pitts Special aerobatic line of aircraft (with some versions for Homebuild). Aviat acquired Pitts Aerobatics in 1983 and continued production of the Pitts Special alongside the Christen Eagle II kits.
