Founded: 1933 by French aeronautical engineer Max Holste
1960: Company renamed Societe Nouvelle Max Holste when Cessna acquire 49% of the business.
1962: Company renamed Reims Aviation and commence production of Cessna aircraft under licence for the European market.
1989: Reims Aviation buy back all Cessna shares and become a private French aircraft manufacturer.
Reims Aviation is now a wholly owned subsidiary of GECI Aviation and produce the F406 Caravan II, having ceased production on the Reims-Cessna single engine range.
