Formed in 1922, Stampe et Vertongen was a Belgian aircraft manufacturer specialising in trainers, the SV.4 Stampe being the best known. The company ceased production in 1940 at the onset of WWII, but the Stampe continued to be built under licence after the war.
The majority of the British registered Stamp's shown below were built in France by SNCAN (Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Nord)
