Founded in 1957, the Rollason Aircraft and Engines Limited was an aircraft manufacturer / maintenance company, plus an agent for Jodel aircraft. Records suggest that it originates from W.A. Rollason Limited and Rollason Aircraft Services Limited, companies formed in 1943 by W.A. Rollason and based at the then Croydon Airport. Aircraft were built at Croydon and assembled and test flown from Redhill Aerodrome. In 1973 the company head office moved to Shoreham Airport.
