Lucy called in and delivered the fruit cake recipe: Ingredients > 2 1/2 cups reg. flower,, 1tsp baking soda, 2 eggs lightly beaten, 1 Jar Bordens Non-such minced meat, 1 can eagle brand milk, 2 cups mixed candied fruit ( 1pd) mix, 1 chopped nuts (walnuts) Method> Preheat oven 300degrees, prepare 9inch tube or bunt pan and line with wax paper and you the paper. 1.) sift flower & baking soda, 2.) combine all rest of ingredients 3.) fold in dry ingredients 4.) pour into pan 5.) bake for about 2hrs, 6.) cool in pan really well, 7.) remove and take wax paper off.
