APEX allows you to create custom User Profiles. Each user profile has a Layout & set of Hot Keys assigned to the user.
The Layout includes what windows are open, along with how the windows are arranged.
The Hot Keys are the files that are tied to the quick access hot key pages. Each user can have their own set of hot key pages.
APEX allows you to create custom users for the On-Air live assist screen. Each user can have specific windows open, in specific arrangements, as well as a specific set of Hot Keys assigned to the Hot Keys Window(s). This gives you the ability to completely customize your experience.
To switch User:
Click on the MENU button on the main window.
Click on Switch User.
Select a user from the list.
Go to Edit Users.
Select the name to rename. Type in the new name.
Click on Rename.
Go to Edit Users.
Select the name to delete.
Click on Delete.
Go to Edit Users.
Type in the new name.
Click on New.
The user has the ability to pick a specific hot key page, if they have a Hot Key window open. The selected hot key page will open every time the particular user is chosen.
To Assign a Hot Key page to a User Profile:
Choose a User Profile that you would like to edit.
Make sure a Hot Key window is open. You can have up to 4 hot key pages open per user profile.
Click on Options in a Hot Keys window and choose Edit Hot Keys.
Pick a hot key page to open. Once picked, that hot key page will automatically be assigned to the user profile. That page will be automatically opened the next time the user profile is selected.

Click on the MENU button on the main window.
Click on Windows Layout.
Select a different Layout in the list.
The next time the user profile is opened, it will default to the selected Layout.
Go to Edit Layouts.
Select the Layout to rename. Type in the new name.
Click on Rename.
Go to Edit Layouts.
Select the Layout to delete.
Click on Delete.
Go to Edit Layouts.
Type in the new Layout name.
Click on New.
Every Windows Layout can be customized to your specific tastes. There are two main elements to customizing your Layout. (1) Selecting which Windows that will be displayed & (2) adjusting their sizes and location on your monitor.
To adjust a Window:
Choose the Layout you want to edit. Go to Menu and select Windows Layout. Choose which Layout you would like to adjust.
Select the edge of any Window. This is done with a simple Left Click hold and drag.
Drag the Windows to the desired size or location on your screen. Changes to the Layout will automatically be saved.
There are 9 different types of Windows to choose from for the On-Air screen. You may choose to display any combination of which Windows will be displayed for a particular Windows Layout.
Click on the MENU button on the main window.
Click on Open Window.
Select which Window you would like displayed. The Window can now be moved to any part of the screen, and adjusted to the desired size.
Click on the MENU button on the main window.
Click on Close Window.
Select which Window you would like displayed. The Window can now be moved to any part of the screen, and adjusted to the desired size.
