Day 11

11th day, the 4th of July

Lutter-matkamme jatkui siis kohti Wittenbergiä. Hän naulasi täällä ne kuuluisat 95 teesiään Kaikkien Pyhien kirkon oveen ja aloitti uskonpuhdistuksen, joka muutti koko Eurooppaa vuonna 1517.

The ”Luther tour” continued when we today visited the Luther town Wittenberg. He nailed the famous 95 theses on the door of the All Saint’s Church and started the Reformation that changed the whole Europe in year 1517.

Wittenbergissä jatkoin myös Arcus kinnerini markkinointia muutamalle kadun tallaajalle. Ostin sieltä myös uuden soittokellon, edellinen oli tärinässä pudonnut jonnekin matkan varrelle. Nyt minulla on alla taas katulaillinen menopeli.

Seuraavan yön majapaikka oli nimeltään Gasthof Stadt Brandenburg. Bachin musiikin suurena fanina tuo nimi sopi minulle täydellisesti. Jos et ole kuullut Bachin brandenburgilaisia konserttoja, niin kuuntelepa suosikkini numero 3 tästä.

Tämä oli tyypillinen saksalainen Gasthaus, jossa oli muutama huone yläkerrassa ja ja erinomainen ravintola alakerrassa. Näitä emmem valitettavasti matkallamme kovin monta nähneet.

In Wittenberg I also continued the marketing of the Arcus velomobile for some street walkers. I also bought a new bell to my bicycle alarm bell. The old one had dropped down somewhere here in Germany. Now I have a street leagal velomobile again.

Our pension for this night is called Gasthof Stadt Brandenburg. As a lover of Bach’s music this suits for us perfectly. If you don’t know the Brandenburg concertos, please listen the nr. 3 from here.

This is a typical German Gasthaus with few bedrooms upstairs and a good restaurant downstairs. We did'nt see too many of these during our tour.
